Overall Summary:
The Pharmacy Encoder is responsible for accurately encoding patient and prescription information into the pharmacy management system while providing administrative and customer service support. The role ensures accurate data entry, proper documentation, efficient patient transactions, and coordination with pharmacists to maintain smooth pharmacy operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Accurately encode patient information, prescriptions, and medication records into the pharmacy system.
Verify prescription details for completeness and accuracy before processing.
Prepare billing, invoices, official receipts, and process payments when applicable.
Maintain accurate electronic and physical records of prescriptions and patient transactions.
Coordinate with pharmacists to ensure timely dispensing of medications.
Monitor and organize prescription documents and other pharmacy records.
Ensure confidentiality of patient information in compliance with company policies and applicable data privacy regulations.
Assist in inventory documentation, stock receiving, and recording of medicine deliveries as assigned.
Generate daily, weekly, or monthly reports as required by management.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception and encoding area.
Perform other administrative and clerical duties assigned by the Pharmacy Supervisor or Clinic Manager.

Graduate of any business, healthcare-related, or computer-related course.
At least one (1) year of experience in data entry, pharmacy, clinic, or healthcare administration is an advantage.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and pharmacy management systems.
Excellent typing and data entry skills with high accuracy and attention to detail.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Honest, organized, dependable, and able to maintain confidentiality.
